Quality and sustainability are of paramount importance to us.

Quality

In order to guarantee quality and sustainable employability, we apply various quality methods and strategies.

In addition to quality assurance through the standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 ISO 3834-2 and DIN 2303 Q1 & Q2:2013, Addit uses the methods and strategies below in its engineering, sheet metal and assembly activities to guarantee high quality and sustainable deployability.

Using PCS (Process Control System) automation technology, the real-time output of various process parameters can be compared with the input process parameters.

Using the alarm management tool, any output parameter deviations from the input parameters can be corrected in time. This minimises process errors.

Electronic VISUAL QUALITY CONTROL

All punched and laser-cut sheet metal parts are checked with an Electronic Visual Control System with automatic accurate display of any deviations from the drawing.

We monitor and control our business processes partly with the help of statistical process controls (SPC). This technique enables us to continuously improve our business processes, which benefits efficiency and product quality.

Both before, during and after the production and service process, the various quality measures of the entire design and production process are followed (FAI).

Sampling tests are carried out using the Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) method to check whether the end product meets the product specifications and quality requirements. This information is documented and provided in a Part Submission Warrant form.

Where possible, we use Poka Yoke within our business processes. Poka Yoke is a quality technique for detecting errors during the development and manufacture of products in successive activities.

Using Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), we investigate and analyse what can go wrong in the process or product, so that we can take measures in advance in the engineering and manufacturing processes to prevent errors.

This with the aim of minimising potential risks and keeping the quality standard as high as possible within the organisation.

We take the environment into account in our business activities. In addition to our ISO 14001:2015 environmental care policy, the following activities contribute to the ‘Planet’ theme:

  • Purchase of recycled and refurbished equipment;
  • The use of natural cleaning agents;
  • Digitisation of information to reduce unnecessary printing;
  • Replacement of company lighting to environmentally friendly LED lamps, reducing energy consumption by the lights by 85%;
  • Separation of our waste so that it can be recycled better ;
  • Regulation of waste and stimulation of reuse and recycling by enforcing the WEEE directive;
  • Adequate risk management of chemicals by enforcing REACH regulation;
